PINEDALE – It’s never too early to think about the upcoming Pedigree Stage Stop Race.
Released late last week, the Pedigree Stage Stop announced its schedule for the 2022 race. Applications are limited to 25 teams. Those who competed in this year’s Stage Stop get top priority and can register from Sept. 1 through Sept. 7. Open registration then runs from Sept. 8 through Sept. 14.
The annual ceremonial start will occur in Jackson on Jan. 28 before teams wind through Teton County and Lander on the way to Sublette County. Pinedale’s stop will be the third stage of the race with teams competing on Jan. 31. Unlike this year, Big Piney-Marbleton’s stop will immediately follow on Feb. 1.
Teams will then compete in Kemmerer before a travel day of rest. They’ll then finish the race in Alpine and the final stop in Driggs, Idaho.
