SAFV Task
was awarded a $2,500 grant from Southwest
Wyoming United Way to help support programming
for individuals affected by domestic
violence, sexual assault and stalking.
The SAFV Task Force is a victim advocacy
program in Sublette County that has
provided refuge, assistance and support to the
victims of domestic violence, sexual assault
and stalking since 1983. Confidential services
are provided without cost to the individual.
Services offered include but are not limited
to crisis intervention, personal and legal advocacy,
emergency sheltering, transitional
housing, counseling, support groups, financial
assistance, development of life skills and financial
empowerment. Anyone is eligible for
SAFV services if that person or their family
has been a victim of domestic violence, sexual
assault or stalking.
