SUBLETTE COUNTY — Since 2010, the Rocky Mountain Power Foundation has offered financial support to the Sublette County Sexual Assault Family Violence (SAFV) Task Force to help provide services to individuals impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking. This year, the Rocky Mountain Power Foundation granted $2,500 to support the continuation of such services throughout Sublette County.
SAFV appreciates the continued support. The organization provides refuge, assistance and support to individuals affected by domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking and is committed to ending violence in Sublette County through prevention. Other services include crisis intervention, personal and legal advocacy, emergency shelter, transitional housing, counseling, support groups, financial assistance and development of life skills.
All SAFV services are provided at no cost to the individual.
SAFV maintains offices in Pinedale at 253 N. Sublette Ave. and in Big Piney, at 415 Budd Ave. If you are in need of immediate assistance, call SAFV’s 24-hour helpline at 1-888-301-4435.
The Rocky Mountain Power Foundation is one of the largest utility-endowed foundations in the United States. PacifiCorp, an electric utility serving 1.8 million customers in six western states as Rocky Mountain Power (Utah, Wyoming and Idaho) and Pacific Power (Oregon, Washington and California), created the foundation in 1988. The foundation’s mission, through charitable investments, is to support the growth and vitality of the communities served by Rocky Mountain Power and Pacific Power.
