It didn’t take long, only five
minutes, for the Sublette County Rural Health
Care District to hire an interim administrative
director. It did require a special meeting.
One Jan. 28, the board sent out an agenda
for the special Jan. 29 meeting. At the meeting,
the board unanimously approved Dave Doorn
as the Sublette County Rural Health Care District
Administrative Interim Director. Chairman
Wendy Boman and board members, Bill Johnson,
Tonia Hoffman and Marti Seipp were in
attendance and Mike Pompy was on the phone.
No district employees were present.
No discussion took place before the vote and
questions from the audience were not answered
when Boman said the board was unable to discuss
any other issues due to the limited agenda
for the special meeting.
A request was made by the Pinedale
Roundup of all five board members’ emails
since taking office.
Emails show a 10-page contract with Doorn
was approved and signed by him on Jan. 25
guaranteeing his pay for six months at $65,000.
Boman said a new contract would be printed
and signed with the date to follow the Jan. 29
meeting.
