Round 'em up!

Cowboys of all ages help hold the cows, calves and yearlings at ‘the bunch ground’ near the highway in Bondurant. Each rancher separates or ‘cuts’ his or her own cattle from the main bunch gathered or ‘rounded up’ along Monument Ridge. Annual roundups from summer grazing allotments begin every October, resulting in confused strays and domineering mother cows trying to get back together. The season of cattle drives on highways, long backcountry rides looking for missing livestock and shipping those headed to market.
