Sublette County Fair FFA and 4-H results

Months of blood, sweat and tears go into each animal and exhibit showcased at the 2023 Sublette County Fair – from long-tailed cats to rockets and halter mares. Each hard-earned ribbon is a reflection of tenacity, work ethic and care on the part of young people from across Sublette County.

Junior Livestock Sale summary

The 2023 Junior Livestock Sale grossed $622,192.50 for 129 head.

• Beef: Total gross sales of $400,439.50 for 74 head. Average price per pound – $4.32. Average gross per head – $5,411.34.
• Goat: Total gross sales of $5,435 for 3 head. Average price per pound – $21.33. Average gross per head – $1,812.
• Lamb: Total gross sales of $29,379.50 for 14 head. Average price per pound – $14.54. Average gross per head – $2,098.54.
• Swine: Total gross sales of $159,899 for 38 head. Average price per pound – $15.95. Average gross per head – $4,207.87.
