PINEDALE – American Legion Post 47 in Pinedale has announced its affiliated Veterans Day activities.
All events planned on Veterans Day – Thursday, Nov. 11 – will take place around the morning, according to list of events from Commander Michael Edison.
A 21-rifle salute opens the ceremonies at the Veteran’s Memorial in American Legion Park at 9 a.m. Everyone is invited to attend.
There will then be an assembly in Pinedale High School Auditorium at 10 a.m. for students of Pinedale Middle School. That will be followed by an assembly for Pinedale High School students in the auditorium at 11 a.m. The public is invited to attend that with a broadcast available on KPIN radio, 101.1 FM, for those who wish to hear the ceremony but cannot attend.
There will also be a veterans’ luncheon at the Pinedale VFW Club at noon.
