IDAHO FALLS – Two Pinedale High School sophomores, Madison Antonino and Cora Koci, joined the Jackson Hole High School cross-country team this season and participated in their first meet, Night at the Races, in Idaho Falls on Aug. 25.
The race took place in the evening, following a hilly loop around a city park in Idaho Falls, said Jackson Head Cross Country Coach Jeff Brazil.
“It was a great way to start off the season,” he added.
Antonino steadily worked her way up into the top 10 over the 5-kilometer course to capture fourth place overall with a time of 21 minutes, 4.60 seconds.
Koci took 62nd place out of 116 contestants, clocking in at 26:21.80.
