Pamela Bernice Mower Pellerin, passed away on March 28, at her home in Kemmerer. She was born on June 19, 1956, in Provo, Utah, to William and Shirley Mower.
Pam was raised in Kemmerer, with her four siblings, Christy, Billee, Bobbee and John. She attended Kemmerer Elementary and Kemmerer High School, graduating in 1974. Soon after graduating high school she moved to Salt Lake City, where she starting working for Utah Power and Light.
While in Utah she held various jobs with the company. In the late ’80s she transferred back to Wyoming, where she worked in the Utah Power and Light warehouses in Big Piney and Pinedale.
That is where she met and soon married John Pellerin. They welcomed their son Matthew Don in July of 1990.
John and Pam divorced soon after Matthew was born.
Pam and Matthew were quite a team; they made their home in Pinedale, along with their many beloved dogs. In 2004, Pam took a disability leave from the company, and moved to Pocatello, Idaho. In 2007 Pam moved to Kemmerer so she and Matt could be closer to her parents and family.
Pam was such a hard-working and fun-loving person. She never met a stranger, and she was accepting of everyone.
Pam loved reading, she and Matt spent many hours reading together. They also loved working outside in their yard and gardening together — she took such pride in her yard. Pam was a rockhound — she loved hunting arrowheads, crystals and Native American artifacts.
Pam had many dogs that she loved unconditionally and they were always considered part of the family.
Pam was preceded in death by her brother, Ricky; son, Matthew and father, William Mower.
She is survived by her mother, Shirley Mower; sisters, Christy (Larry) Cook and Bobbee (Eric) Rudy of Kemmerer; and Billee (Lonnie) Woodbridge of Arco, Idaho.
She is also survived by her brother, John (Carole) Mower of Durango, Colorado; numerous neices and nephews; great-neices and great-nephews; and her beloved dog, Quilla.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Monday, April 3, with visitation one hour prior to service, at Ball Family Chapel, 915 Pine Avenue in Kemmerer.
