PINEDALE – Max Mahn, a printmaker artist, is hosting a reception and talk tonight – Oct. 22 – in the Pinedale Library’s Lovatt Room at 7 p.m.
He will be talking about his craft through a slideshow and he’ll have original prints on display, some even for sale at the free event.
Mahn has produced original art prints for bands like Wilco, Modest Mouse, Primus, Andrew Bird and The Melvins, as well as various film festivals, breweries and newspapers. He’s been in Pinedale this week to work with Pinedale High School students as part of the school printmaking residency.
The residency is sponsored by Sublette BOCES No. 1 and Wyoming Arts Council, the reception is presented by Pinedale Fine Arts Council.
