PINEDALE – Not only was July 7 a lovely evening at the Museum of the Mountain Man, people enjoyed each other’s company as well as their surroundings of fine art, jewelry and baskets of wine. This year’s Western Art & Wine Auction, always held during the Green River Rendezvous, was the best one yet, said museum executive director Clint Gilchrist. Although he didn’t get exact numbers, about 200 supporters attended the dinner auction and helped raise more than $33,000 before expenses. “It was a very good year,” Gilchrist said later.
