Although the temperature plummeted Friday as the sun went down, plenty of people wandered around downtown Pinedale or waited in their warm cars for the lighting of the Christmas tree and the annual Parade of Lights.
A crowd gathered at the Courthouse to hear Voices 8 sing Christmas carols and count down with Santa for the lighting of the pines out front. Most people were dressed for the weather although some ran into The Cowboy Shop to buy extra hats and gloves and enjoy a cup ofsteaming hot chili.
