Memorial Day events in Pinedale

PINEDALE — The public is encouraged to attend a Memorial Day ceremony at American Legion Park in Pinedale on Monday, May 29.

In addition to a flag-raising ceremony, presentation of the National Anthem and a performance of Taps, the Sublette County Veterans Mounted Cavalry has arranged for a horse without a rider to represent the fallen.

The event, which will take place around the Veterans Memorial located in American Legion Park on the north side of Pine Street, is set to begin at 10 a.m.

The American Legion will join the VFW at 11 a.m., at the Pinedale Cemetery, 73 Fremont Lake Rd.

The VFW will host a luncheon at 1033 W. Pine St., immediately following the ceremonies.
