PINEDALE – Sheila Perschau and Jeffrey Pittman, both lifetime members of the Pinedale Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Auxiliary, donated their time to demolish an old playhouse at the Pinedale Preschool and haul away materials to make way for a new playhouse on Oct. 31.

Perschau and Pittman chose the project to honor Pittman’s parents, Homer and LeOra Pittman, lifetime members of the VFW Auxiliary.

Perschau established a bank account at First Western Trust Bank to raise funds for the new playhouse. The old playhouse was over 10 years old, said Teresa Sandner, executive director at the Pinedale Preschool.

“We are so thankful that Sheila and Jeffrey are stepping up and helping us with this project,” Sandner added.
