The Pinedale Lady Wranglers volleyball team took on the Big Piney Punchers in the Wrangler Gym on Thursday, Oct. 18, vying for the cross-county traveling trophy. The girls won three games, 25-10, 25-13, and 25-9. It was also Senior Night and the Lady Wranglers’ three seniors – Kodie Egle, Teegan Johnson and Madison Friend – were escorted into the gym with their parents to receive flowers, balloons, gifts and big hugs from their teammates.
They next play at the 3A West regionals in Mountain View on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 26-27. Pinedale will take on Worland today at 11:30 a.m.; Big Piney plays Powell at 1 p.m. On Saturday, winners go on to the semi-finals and losers will play in consolation rounds.
