Area youth are invited to “get hooked on fishing” at the annual Kids Fishing Day at Dudley Key Fields Pond in Pinedale on Saturday, June 3. The pond is located just behind the Sublette County School District No. 1 Bus Barn. The Wyoming Game and Fish Department will provide fishing gear and worms, and employees from several local agencies will be on hand to offer tips, tricks and advice. The entire event is free of charge.
Open registration begins Saturday at 10 a.m. All registered youth will receive a goodie bag filled with fishing supplies.
Saturday, June 3, is also Free Fishing Day across the state of Wyoming, when anyone may fish without a fishing license or conservation stamp. However, all limits and other fishing regulations still apply.

Odds should be in the anglers’ favor since Wyoming Game and Fish Department regularly stocks plenty of trout in the pond. Parents are also invited to come and share in the fun.
