SUBLETTE COUNTY – The Bill and Sharon Johnson family is arranging a goodwill drive to transport household items to Oglala Lakota College in Pine Ridge, South Dakota, where goods will be distributed.
Clothes of all sizes, blankets, kitchen goods, toys, balls, sports items, books and tools are among welcomed items. Dry goods are the only acceptable foods, not canned goods that might freeze. Donations of clothing should be made in trash bags.
Donations can be delivered to the Johnson Shop at 33 Ranch on the south end of Par Avenue, east onto Granite Street for 200 yards and then a left through the open gate to the north end of the shop. Donations are due on Dec. 8 and 9 between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. so they can be delivered on Dec. 10 or 12.
