The Sublette County Hospital District is in the midst of final interviews with three potential management partners. The hospital district board of trustees prepared a set of interview questions for the CEOs of each organization. The board then opened the meetings to questions and comments from stakeholders and the public.
On Feb. 24, the hospital district hosted St. John's Health CEO Will Wagnon, followed by a meeting with Star Valley Health CEO Dan Ordyna. A final meeting with Jeff Solis, the CEO at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center, is scheduled for March 10 at 5 p.m. at the Marbleton Senior Center.
Tonia Hoffman, board chairman, told the Roundup that the trustees do not have a definite date for a final meeting to chose a management partner. She stated that the trustees still need to sift through the mounds of information compiled from nine question and answer sessions, surveys from employees at the Sublette Center and Sublette County Rural Health Care District and the public input they have received so far.
Hoffman said that the final meeting to choose a partner will be open to the public with time allotted for feedback and comments. She added that the hospital board will advertise the final public meeting at least two weeks in advance through local and social media.
