Local outdoorsman and avid mountaineer Conor Raney spent the past two summers doing something that has never been done before in Sublette County – hike the nearly 400 miles around the entire boundary line of the county. From mountain peaks to endless fields of sagebrush, Raney will provide photos and insight from his grueling hike during the presentation of ‘Walking 23’ tonight, May 12, at 6 p.m. in the Lovatt Room of the Pinedale Library.
Raney says his hope is to inspire attendees to get out and explore Sublette County’s wonders.
‘Sublette County is so unique and rewarding,’ he said this week.
He plans to show between 150 and 200 photos chronologically and provide interesting stories of his trek that spanned 23 days in Wyoming’s 23rd county.
