Gehlhausen posted an undefeated 51-0 record his senior year at Pinedale High School. His cumulative high school wrestling record was 168-28.

CHADRON, NEB. – Pinedale High School alumni Keegan Gehlhausen, Class of 2021, captured second place in the 184-pound bracket at the NCAA Super Region VI Wrestling Championships hosted by Chadron State College on Feb. 25.
Gehlhausen’s second-place finish secured the athlete a spot at the NCAA Division II National Wrestling Tournament at the Alliant Energy Powerhouse in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, on March 10-11. The action starts at 9 a.m. and can be viewed from the Chadron State College athletics website, https://chadroneagles.com, through the platform Flowrestling for a fee.
Gehlhausen is a redshirt freshman for the Chadron State Eagles’ wrestling team. He achieved a 15-10 record over the course of the 2022-2023 season. One of Gehlhausen’s wins at the Regional Tournament was a 5-3 decision over Jason Bynarowicz, of Colorado Mesa University, who had won by pin when the wrestlers first met during a duel in early February.

Gehlhausen is majoring in rangeland management with an option in wildlife management at Chadron State College.
