PINEDALE – Bright lights, live music and old-fashioned family fun highlighted this year’s Fourth of July celebration in Pinedale throughout the day on Tuesday.
To kick things off, the town of Pinedale invited folks out to American Legion Park in the early afternoon hours for games including three-legged races and sack races. Shortly thereafter, town employees and council members served up a large crowd for its annual BBQ picnic. Folks filled up on hamburgers, hot dogs and kielbasa in the shade while others played games down along Pine Creek.
As the evening hours rolled around, folks remained at the park to get in on some foot-stompin’ musical performances from show opener Jason Burton Band and bluegrass artist Laney Lou and the Bird Dogs immediately following.
After the sun dipped behind the Wyoming Range, folks gathered at locations around town to catch the fireworks show put on by Sublette County Unified Fire. The show capped off yet another successful Fourth of July celebration in Pinedale as vivid colors illuminated the evening sky late into the evening.
