Foundation 23 launches new campaign

Posted

SUBLETTE COUNTY — Following the success of the 2022 Pinedale Half Marathon’s fundraising campaign, a new organization was established to address the needs for a broader scope of fundraising and community awareness for local charities. Foundation 23 is a community foundation whose mission is to build a stronger community through impactful giving and advocacy for Sublette County nonprofits.

The public is invited to participate in Foundation 23’s 2023 Community Fundraising campaign from July 1 through Sept. 23.

A pool of generous donors will match financial contributions made to participating nonprofits during this timeframe.

The campaign will peak on Sept. 16 during the Pinedale Half Marathon and 10K race, where more than 500 people are expected to come together in a celebration of community spirit and support.

Sublette County nonprofit organizations are encouraged to use this opportunity to educate the community about their efforts while raising funds.

To be eligible for matching funds, participating nonprofits must apply by June 15 and complete all requirements.

Eligible organizations include public nonprofit organizations with an IRS 501(C)3 designation, faith-based organizations, service clubs and public school programs.
