MARBLETON – Family, friends and personnel from Sublette County Unified Fire (SCUF) gathered at the Fire Training Facility in Marbleton on Monday night to take part in the graduation of 13 recruits from the SCUF training program.
According to SCUF chief Shad Cooper, each recruit completed about 240 hours of learning, including self-study, online/blended learning and hands-on practical training. Following their official graduation, they are now qualified at the following levels: Firefighter One, Wildland FFT2, Haz-Mat Awareness and Operations, National Incident Management System 100 and 700, and first-aid/CPR.
The graduates include Jesse Colson, Chase Judd, Sam Sumrall, Sam Crittendon, David Kennedy, Mike Wagstaff, Josh Davis, Phil Mergl, Timothy Woolbright, Erin Fazendin, Chris Potter, Curt Yanish, Darren Hull and Tiara Morgan.
