Figure skaters bring home more medals

Just in time for annual Spring Ice Shows!

The Wind River Skate Club continued its winning streak with 10 skaters competing at the Denver Invitational in Littleton, Colo., March 9-12.

This included six girls on the Wind River "Ettes" Synchronized Skating Team who brought home the Gold Medal in Aspire Preliminary Synchronized Skating! They competed against top figure-skating clubs from all over the US. The Denver Invitational hosted upwards of 500 competitors, including 17 synchronized skating teams.

All Wind River Skate Club skaters, including the synchronized skating team, will perform in the Spring Ice Show on Friday, March 24, and Saturday, March 25, at 6 p.m. in the Sublette County Ice Arena, 1219 W. Washington St., Pinedale.

1st place Gold: 17

2nd place Silver: 3

3rd place Bronze: 10

4th place medals: 9
