SUBLETTE COUNTY – The Sublette County Special Hospital District is hosting final managing partner presentations every Wednesday for three consecutive weeks, starting this week.
All of the final sessions will be structured the same: the CEO of each finalist will introduce themselves and make a pitch as to why their hospital should be chosen, the hospital district board will then ask the same set of questions for roughly 30 minutes before the remainder of the two-hour session will be used for public questions.
Public participation in these final interviews is encouraged.
The first session will be held tomorrow from 5 to 7 p.m. Current St. John’s Health CEO Paul Beaurpre and incoming CEO Will Wagnon will make a final presentation for their hospital remotely as members of the public are to gather at the Marbleton Senior Center.
Star Valley Medical Center CEO Dan Ordyna will make his hospital’s final presentation on March 3, also from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Sublette County School District No. 1 Board Room inside the BOCES building in Pinedale.
Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center CEO Jeff Sollis is scheduled to present at the Marbleton Senior Center on March 10 from 5 to 7 p.m.
These final presentations will be made after two sessions from each candidate. Original pitches were made at the Sublette County Library’s Lovatt Room in Pinedale last month. Then each candidate participated in back-to-back hour sessions over Zoom with one hour involving stakeholders and the other involving community members. All of those sessions, as well as the hospital district’s board meeting from Feb. 17, are available on the district’s YouTube channel.
