Dear editor,
Change on Pine Ridge Reservation donations. Alice Phelps and her husband were on their way from southwest South Dakota Friday to pick up the third load and meet our people. Last night, her husband’s brother was shot. He is in serious condition.
They are not coming this weekend.
We will still collect donations from noon to 3 p.m. on Friday and from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday at the Johnson shop. We live at 51 Par Ave., on the southwest edge of Pinedale, but drive a short distance south to Granite Lane. Go east a couple of hundred yards, turn left and come in the back way to our yellow metal shop.
Thanks,
Bill Johnson, Pinedale
