Dave Bancroft passed away at his home in Brownwood, Texas, on Sept. 8, 2021, after a short illness.
Dave was born to Chuck and Twila Bancroft in Riverton, Wyo., on April 17, 1953. He was raised in Big Piney and graduated from Big Piney High School, class of 1971. Dave served in the U.S. Army and then went on to work in the oilfields and construction in various states. While in Oklahoma he met and married his wife, Ann. They lived in Oklahoma City for many years and then in 2005 moved to Brownwood, Texas, to spend their retirement years.
Dave is survived by his wife, Ann, of Brownwood, Texas, brother, Bob (Ginger) of Casper, Wyo., three stepchildren and many cousins in Wyoming.
