On Tuesday morning, Oct. 23, Sublette County Unified Fire responded to a single-vehicle accident north of Bondurant. Sublette County Fire Battalions 3 (Bondurant) and 5 (Daniel), Sublette County Search and Rescue, Sublette County EMS and Sublette County Sheriff’s Office all responded. Initial reports indicated swift-water rescue might be required but the GMC SUV’s only occupant, the driver, was already helped out by passing good Samaritans. The driver had minor injuries after the vehicle slid on the slick road, left the pavement and rolled onto its side in the Hoback River.
