SUBLETTE COUNTY – Sublette County’s first responders will come together for the 2021 Battle of the Badges later this summer.
The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office and Wyoming Highway Patrol will team to play Sublette County Unified Fire and Sublette County Emergency Medical Services in a fundraising flag football game for bragging rights and a cause. Funds raised will go to Dept. Ty Huffman and his ongoing battle with cancer.
The event will be combined with the national Night Out event that traditionally provides opportunities for communities to connect with the various emergency service agencies.
Gene Andrews Stadium will host the game on Aug. 21. Gates will open at 5 p.m. and the game will be at 6 p.m. Attendees can pay $5 per person or $15 for a family of four or more by cash at the gate or online via Eventbrite.
