PINEDALE – Art of the Winds Gallery is accepting artwork of any and all media through April 1 for its upcoming eARTh-Postcard Art Show, with a special Earth Day reception on April 22, from 2-5 p.m.
Mini artworks will be on display and for sale beginning April 5 through April 29, at Art of the Winds, 128 W. Pine St., Pinedale.
All ages are welcome to enter up to four of their original 2D or 3D pieces, no more than 8 inches in height, width or depth, including the frame. Art of the Winds’ adult art sales will request a 5-percent commission but youth artists will not be asked for sales commissions.
The idea is to come up with creative ways to show how “Earth” inspires the postcard or perhaps something slightly larger! Family, friends and the community are invited to come in and vote for their People’s Choice faves in each age bracket.
The prize categories are Youth, 7 and under, Youth, 8-12, Youth, 13-18 and Adult, 19 and older.
More information and entry rules are available at Art of the Winds Gallery, 128 W. Pine St., Pinedale.
