Antonino breaks records at April meets

PINEDALE – Pinedale High School sophomore Madison Antonino set new school records in several outdoor track long-distance events in April.

Antonino broke the school record in the girls’ 1600-meter that she set in 2022 at the Uintah Invitational in Vernal, Utah, on April 1. Antonino’s previous record stood at 5:24.08. Her new mark on April 1 was 5:21.99.

Antonino then went on to break the new record set at Vernal by setting a new record in the event at the Worland Invitational at 5:16.15.

In the 3200-meters, Antonino again broke her own record of 11:51.75 set in 2022 at the Worland Invitational on April 6. Antonino’s new record is 11:34.00.
