Three buildings were
damaged Monday, Aug. 12 by fire at 28
Cornstalk Place in the Green River Ranch
Subdivision in the Warren Bridge area.
A third party called in the fire to Sublette
County emergency responders, including
the Sublette County Sheriff's Office,
Sublette County Unified Fire and Sublette
County EMS, who were notified of a barn
that was on fire.
SCUF responded at 7:28 p.m. with multiple
battalions and arrived on scene with
flames showing from at least one structure.
There were three small buildings involved
in the fire including one storage-type
building, a barn and what appeared to be a
small bunkhouse. The barn and bunkhouse
sustained minor damage due to the close
proximity to the heat and flames from the
small storage shed. The buildings were unoccupied
at the time of the response.
The fire was extinguished and fire crews
saved the other two buildings on the property.
There were no injuries to responders.
The origin and cause of the fire is still
under investigation.
