The 2022-2023 winter ski season came to a close at White Pine Ski Resort with the annual Spring Fling Bash starting on Saturday, March 25. Events on Saturday featured cardboard races in the morning followed by a pond skim for skiers and snowboarders.

Clowns, cows and other wacky costumes were spotted on the ski slopes both Saturday and Sunday. White Pine Ski Resort hosted numerous end-of-season clearance sales along with additional competitions over the weekend. Skiers and snowboarders shredded the slopes for a final time on Monday, March 27, the last day of the season.

White Pine management thanked Sublette County fire warden and fire chief Shad Cooper and firefighters with Sublette County Unified Fire for volunteering their time to fill the pond for the pond skim.
