SUBLETTE COUNTY – Many fairgoers visited the annual Lynn Thomas Memorial Art Show & Sale in the Sublette County Fairgrounds’ Community Building, to enjoy local artists’ range of styles and subjects.
Artist Bonnie Nelson won the Sublette Centennial Committee’s “old barn” contest with her oil painting “Old Pape Barn.”
Show director Sharon Schell selected “Nature’s Jewelry” by Jody Gilmore as Director’s Choice.
Judges chose “Steve” by Cynde Wilson for first place, with Kay Meeks painting “Whispered Lullaby” receiving honorable mention.
Second place went to “The Boss” by Jody Gilmore and Bailey Schupp’s “Beetle Sunning” received second honorable mention. Third place went to “Trail Clearing,” a watercolor by Heather McCullough and Bonnie Nelson’s “Night Rider” was the third honorable mention.
