CODY – The Pinedale High School varsity boys basketball team hit the road last weekend for a pair of competitive matchups against Powell on Friday and Cody on Saturday.
According to head coach Eric Oram, his team wasn’t able to execute its game plan very well on Friday, which made a huge impact in the 61-57 loss to the Panthers.
“We played hard, but not our smartest game,” Oram said “Give credit to Powell for playing their best game and hitting shots when it mattered.”
The coach said foul trouble took the Wranglers out of the groove on both ends of the floor, along with turning the ball over too much.
“We turned the ball over too much and I felt like we did not work to get great shots from the offense,” he noted. “We missed some free throws as a team that added up in the end.”
